This train is SO much fun..

I would highly recommend this choo choo loop! Our daughters are 6 and 2 and it is amazing how such a simple toy can keep the attention of children so long but it is a great toy. We especially like putting the train in the loop and letting it roll all over the house.. just like a hamster in a ball.. pretty funny! It is kinda hard to snap the pieces together but that is simply because the connection is nice and sturdy and you can easily twist for the roller coaster effect. Great toy!!More detail ...

Educational clock face is sorta cheap

I like this clock have been working on it with my 5 year old he likes it however the face of the clock is a cheap ...sorta cardboard type that I know if my 2 year old got a hold of it the clock would be trashed.

TOMY BIG LOADER

My children loved this and had a great time with their father watching big loader. Now my husband continues to enjoy the big loader with our grandchildren.



I purchased this as a back up when TOMY informed me they no long support parts and our engine was acting up. My husband repaired it but we weren't taking any chances so decided to purchase another so the "Big Kid" and grandchildren would not be without- it stays at Grandma and Grandpa's house and Grandpa has been known to play with it even when the granddkids aren't around.More detail ...

Just wish there were more for the price!

My son enjoyed this toy since I got it for him at about 15 months old. He couldn't turn it on and off himself til maybe a couple months later but he liked playing w/ the gears. Now when he plays w/ it once in a while he usually leaves it running but we haven't had to change the batteries very often. Not sure why it's rated for 3+ probably for the small size and stickers but the smallest gear is about 1 1/2" in diameter and would be pretty tough to choke on. It's well made. The stickers haven't peeled off after a lot of handling and the magnets are firmly in place. The gears turn very smoothly. It works great on the fridge or on magnetic dry erase boards.More detail ...

great without the batteries!

These are fabulous blocks. My 2.5 year old got these recently from his grandmother and loves them. He can build all sorts of cool things. The only problem with them is that when you put the battery in to make the motors work it makes a horrible and I mean horrible! clicking sound. Its very loud and absolutely unnecessary. It would be perfect without the clicks! Just don't make the mistake of putting the batteries in to begin with!More detail ...

Super Cute

I ordered this for a friend who was having a baby. I was there when she opened the box and we took it out and played with it a little. Its VERY well constructed. The colors are beautiful. The pieces seem to be a good size for small fingers but not so small as to be a hazard. Its a great toy. I wish someone had gotten it for my son when he was born. Maybe if I have another child I'll just buy it myself. :)More detail ...

Great first block set

My daughter has been chewing on this block set since she was about 5 months old. I'm not worried about them going in her mouth because Plan Toys uses non toxic dyes. The primary colors have something in them to make a noise when shaken the secondary colors have a piece of fabric on the outside for texture and the whitish blocks have a magnifying glass kaleidescope or mirror. My daughter has noticed the noise and shakes them near her head. She hasn't done much with the textured blocks (besides chew). She loves when I stack them tall so she can knock them down. She bangs them off one another to make a knocking noise or throws them on the floor. She has learned she can crawl around with one in her hand for a mobile toy. It's great because I can always hear her and know when she is on the move. Just a warning some of the colors rub off on light color walls. They are about 1 1/4 inches square. Terrible Quality

We got this on clearance at a little local toy store. We were excited to see it on sale because it was on our daughter's wish list here. The pieces are supposed to snap together and stay that way. A few did but there is one connector that won't stay and one that NEVER went in. We even went as far as trying hammers and pliers to try to squeeze it in. We really should have taken it back but instead we sort of prop it up against her doll house. Not a great solution but at least the sandbox and teeter-totter are usable.More detail ...

As always Plan Toys comes through

This is so cute. It's big for my 7.5 month old but she is already trying to walk. I searched for dimensions everywhere but no luck. If you need them floor to top of the handle is 20 1/2 " at it's widest it is 13 1/4" and it is 19" deep. The noise of the woodpeckers is nice. It's noticible but not annoyingly loud. I'm not sure how effective the mechanism is for slowing down the speed at which a baby can walk. It seems you can either let the wheels go all the way or not at all. I didn't find much of an in between. Very easy to assemble. I was disappointed that some glue was showing - its clear glue but just looks a bit sloppy. I bought this toy for my 18 month old son because we were heading on a 23 hour car journey. I searched high and low for toys that were compact and would provide maximum enjoyment. I bought approximately 10 different toys for him to play with throughout the trip. This being one of them. I can honestly say that this toy was the best of all the toys I purchased. He absolutely loves it! There is so much for little hands to figure out with the toy. My little guy loves to put things together and take apart so this was perfect for him. disappointingly cool

I love Plan Toys and have puchased many of them over the years. While I have been happy with most of their products once in a while we are disappointed. My son loves playing with the wooden train sets at peoples homes we visit so we wanted to start his own for Christmas. After looking all over I decided on this one because it was compatable with the Plan City roads which we also liked and would try to add to over time. First I didn't realize that all the tracks are not double sided like other wooden brands so that the pieces are flippable to make more configurations. Because of this you can really only build the included plan and not much else which doesn't make this set very versatile and my almost three year old (and his five year old brother) has to have help putting it together. Then during play the mountain tracks are bumped and easily knocked apart. The pieces are not very uniform in height and width which was disappointing and the included trees will not stand very well on carpet. In addition after only playing with the set a few times one of the curved tracks has already split apart (and my son is not a rough player). Overall it is a very cool set but definately for older children and if I'd realized how it compares to other sets we've seen I would probably not have chosen this one. The quality we find in most toys from this manufacturer was just lacking in the set we received.More detail ...

Adorable until the batteries run out!

Buyers beware! This toy is hysterical ... funny sounds great waddles and lots of fun. However its batteries CANNOT be replaced which means the toy is worthless in terms of sound once the batteries run out. This was a big disappointment for me as TOMY typically makes really great toys. Also watch how you store it in the toy box as the red connectors are easily twisted which prevents the ducks from following in a straight line.More detail ...

Great tea set!

I purchased this tea set as a Christmas gift for two little girls to go along with their other 'kitchen themed' presents. I liked it because it was wooden and seemed more substantial than many of the other sets I had seen. Their mother says they love it! Durable Zebra Pull Toy

My baby received this for Christmas at my request. I didn't want a bunch of infant toys that will be outgrown in a few short months. This is PERFECT! It is made of durable wood bright black and white contrast which babies love and his head moves forward and back as he is being pulled. He is not old enough to play with it but I am looking forward to watching him pulling or pushing it around. Another GREAT toy by Plan Toys. Good quality

This is a nice quality set and I like that it is ecofriendly. The amount of train track significantly exceeds the amount of road for cars and trucks and I would have preferred it the other way around as we have a lot of train track in the house already. I would recommend the purchase of additional roadway if that is part of the attraction for your children.More detail ...

Well liked toy

Yes this toy can be extremely annoying- It barks way too frequently but I have to say that my 14month old loves it and has played with it consistently since receiving it at 11 mos. And honestly I believe most of the appeal of the toy for her is the dog sounds it makes!
